Afghanistan International Bank “AIB” which commenced operation on March 2004 is the first private bank in the country promoted by multilateral development finance institutions and some of the prominent business houses of the country headquartered at Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan.

Within seven years of commencing business the Bank has grown rapidly with sixteen branches and three cash outlets throughout the country. The bank has planned to open four more branches inside Kabul city and three in provinces this year.
